2003 September: Official Launch of Business
Registration of a business.
2004 February: »gensensorik.de« Version 1.0 Becomes Available
The first early German version is launched under the name »gensensorik.de«.
2004 November: »gensensorik.de« Version 1.2 Launched
»gensensorik.de« version 1.2 becomes available. Major new feature is the powerful global search option.
2005 February: »gensensorik.de« Version 2.0 Launched
Version 2.0, the last German version of the database, is launched at the Dechema status seminar »Chip Technologies« in Frankfurt. The product name, in anticipation of the new English version, is changed to »gene-sensor.com«, or simply [gs]!
2005 April: Qon-teq New North American Sales Partner
[iito] signs an agency agreement with Qon-teq, LLC in San Diego, CA.
Qon-teq is a service company representing foreign technology firms in the life sciences area in North America. Qon-teq will be responsible for »gene-sensor.com« sales in North America.
2005 May: Science-Partners Ltd., Oxford, UK, to Sell »gene-sensor.com« in the UK and Ireland
[iito] signs an agency agreement with Science-Partners, Ltd.
Science-Partners, based in Oxford, was established in 2004 to provide a new, sales-focused channel for technology software vendors who want to bring their product to Europe. Science-Partners Ltd is responsible for »gene-sensor.com« sales in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
2005 September: UK Launch of First English Version »gene-sensor.com« 3.0 in Oxford, UK
The English version includes new customised solutions and a respective early adopter programme to further develop »gene-sensor.com« as a unique business intelligence tool for specific partners.
2006 January: Launch of First Customised Version »gene-sensor.com« 4.0
The new [gs] version 4.0 for the first time offers a business intelligence tool on the basis of up-to-date news that allows 3-way-customisation for individual customers:
– 1. customised search form
– 2. customised input of data (tracking)
– 3. customised output format (e.g., Excel table).
2007 May: Launch »gene-sensor.com« Version 5.0
New features of [gs] version 5.0 include:
– customised »my [gs]« home page
– customised [gs] NewsAlert (weekly)
– customised [gs] Quarterly (quarterly Excel tables)
– customised "Project" tracking
– persons and employments/memberships
– expanded organisation profiles
(incl. "about" section and basic economic data)
– direct web link to original document
(for all documents accessed after 1. April 2005)
2008 October: Launch »gene-sensor« Version 6.0
The new [gs] version 6.0 is launched at the »Biotechnica« trade fair in Hanover, Germany, on 7–9 October. The »gene-sensor.com« 6.0 delivers a complete redesign of our user interface with new strong navigation features and much more!!!!
2009 July: Launch »gene-sensor.com« Version 7.0
The new [gs] version 7.0 adds options at the upper end, i.e. in-house installation for large customers, and at the bottom end, i.e. small, affordable, yet powerful subscription option for small businesses!
2009 September: »gene-sensor.com« Expands Services into Mass Spectrometry
At the IMSC in Bremen [iito] announced that [gs] will cover the mass spectrometry industry worldwide immediately.
2010 March: Launch of Mass-Spec-Capital.com
The Free Web Portal for the Worldwide Mass Spectrometry Community!
Right in time for PITTCON 2010, DGMS Meeting 2010 and Analytica 2010 the new web portal [MSC] provides up-to-date information about mass spectrometry news, people, products, deals and organsiations worldwide at www.mass-spec-capital.com !
