Erika Söderberg Johnson has been appointed as the new CFO and Business Controller of Biotage AB. She will start her assignment on 1 January 2012. Erika has been the CFO of Karo Bio AB since 2007.

Mats-Olof Wallin, the present CFO of Biotage, is leaving the company at his own request and he remains at his position until Erika Söderberg Johnson starts. Mats-Olof started as CFO at Pyrosequencing AB (which later was changed to the name Biotage AB) 1 February 2003.

"Biotage has undergone many and large changes during the period Mats-Olof has been with the company, such as a number of acquisitions of both products and companies with the following post-merger work, not to forget the sale of the Biosystems division (previously known as Pyrosequencing). I want to express my gratitude for Mats-Olof 's efforts and contributions both in the role as CFO but also in the business development activities involved.
