Leading Omics Data Management Platform Advances Integration of MS with Other Key Data to Drive Real-time Interactive Life Science Research

With new Refiner MS module capabilities for direct integration with leading mass spectrometry search engines, Genedata Expressionist 6 provides a platform for real-time biomarker discovery. New predefined workflow systems and visualization enhancements are among additional features, which combine to create a highly intuitive omics analysis environment. Genedata Expressionist 6 will be demonstrated at the 58th ASMS Conference on Mass Spectrometry (May 23 - 27; Booth #1).

Genedata Expressionist, built on a highly scalable architecture, is capable of handling extremely large data sets and studies. The dedicated Refiner modules for microarray and next-generation sequencing data readily extend the system beyond classical expression data to address the entire biomarker discovery and development workflow. * Direct Search Engine Integration with online control of Mascot searches from within workflows, interactive searches with Mascot, ChemSpider, HMDB, and offline import of Mascot, SEQUEST and MetaboCard results without information loss. Using integrated consolidation of MS/MS information often improves reliability of search results.

* Advanced Raw Data Visualizer enables significantly faster renderings, automatic m/z peak position labeling, display of 2D peak bounds in chromatogram cuts, and 1D peaks and 1D peak clusters share selection.
