During the first two quarters of the 2010 business year, PANATecs succeeded in doubling its earnings relative to the previous year. The size of the team increased from 11 to 20 employees.

In the opinion of Dr. Benedikt Merz, the Managing Director of PANATecs, the most striking feature was the continuous increase in cooperative projects with large customers from the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

As Dr. Merz put it: "GMP analysis has been added to our portfolio and we have also been awarded manufacturing authorization for test laboratories in accordance with §13 of the German Medicines Act. These two developments have made an important contribution to the increase in sales. Analytical services in the context of manufacturing authorization are extremely popular with our industrial customers. One example was the assumption of responsibility for CoA release by a Qualified Person from PANATecs."

PANATecs is now involved in specific negotiations with large new potential customers, justifying optimism about expanding order books.
