Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science, today announced that it is extending its global program of basic rheology seminars and specialist seminars on various subjects in material characterization in 2010.

With a focus on specific applications, along with hands-on instruction, these seminars are designed to help users optimize their current application as well as develop new and innovative applications. Seminars are being held at the company's training centers in Karlsruhe (Germany), Somerset, N.J. and Sugar Land, Texas (USA), Breda (Netherlands), Paris (France), Mumbai (India) and Shanghai (China).

At one-day compact seminars, attendees receive instruction on how rheological measuring methods can be used efficiently. Led by multidisciplinary speakers, rheological topics are either covered in general or focus on a specific application as noted in the list below:
