The Scott Partnership, global B2B PR and marketing communications consultancy based in Cheshire, UK, announces the opening of its first North American presence with satellite offices in Massachusetts and Connecticut. The Scott Partnership Inc. will have a strong focus in the Business-to-Business field, with specialisms in life sciences, chemicals and plastics, and food and beverages. The US operation will predominantly expand, service and develop new clients as well as support existing customers based in North America.

As part of this expansion, The Scott Partnership has appointed seasoned marketing executive Luke Giroux as Vice President for Business and Client Services. Luke Giroux brings more than 15 years' experience working in B2B marketing, leading campaigns for global customers. Based in Connecticut, Luke has held senior positions in Martino & Binzer, Maier Advertising, and Mason and Madison.

The Scott Partnership continues its successful expansion, having outperformed the PR industry during the largest worldwide recession in 2009 and 2010 by achieving double digit growth each year, increased profitability and headcount expansion. Significant new client wins from North America during 2009 and 2010 have led to the investment into this new operation.
