Panatecs GmbH. (3/23/10). "Press Release: Panatecs Awarded Manufacturing Authorization for Test Laboratories in Accordance with 15th Amendment to the German Medicines Act".

Analytica 2010 is the leading international trade fair for instrumental analysis, laboratory technology and biotechnology and was last held on 23-26 March 2010. PANATecs took this opportunity to present its new GMP certificate for the performance of QC tests relevant to drug release, in accordance with §13 of the German Medicines Act (AMG).

PANATecs GmbH is a reliable outsourcing partner for the international pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries in projects related to protein analysis and peptide synthesis.

In response to numerous enquiries from customers, PANATecs applied for the certification for test laboratories to perform QC tests relevant to drug release in accordance with §13 of the German Medicines Act (AMG) . This was awarded in March 2010. According to Alexander Cansier, Head of Quality Assurance at PANATecs: "Our company created the foundations for GMP testing of medicines and active products within a record time. We are proud that we have so rapidly attained our objective of becoming one of the first test laboratories with manufacturing authorization."

PANATecs is the first test laboratory specializing in protein analysis with GMP status in accordance with the 15th Amendment of the AMG. PANATecs performs analyses relevant to release in the responsibility of the company's own.

PANATecs GmbH has named Dr. Benedikt Merz as QP.

PANATecs assumes the responsibility in drug law for tests as ordered and hereby reduces the work to be performed by their customers.
