Scott Partnership, The. (8/24/09). "Press Release: The Scott Partnership Appointed by Two New Clients in Five Way Pitch". Cheshire.
B2B PR agency The Scott Partnership today announces that it has been appointed to lead two new global PR campaigns. Wales-based ALMSCO International, a leading developer of mass spectrometry technology, has recruited the agency to build visibility of its brand within its target markets worldwide. Additionally, Markes International, a specialist manufacturer of analytical instrumentation, has also selected The Scott Partnership to lead its first-ever PR campaign, highlighting the benefits of the company's expanding portfolio of innovative products. These two client wins mark a major coup for the Cheshire-based agency, taking The Scott Partnership's total number of new client wins in 2009 into double digits.
ALMSCO International has invested heavily in the research and development of innovative measurement technologies; specifically Time-of-Flight (TOF) mass spectrometry and associated data analysis software. ALMSCO International has appointed The Scott Partnership based on the agency's experience of working with key global media and of developing results-driven technical PR strategies. The Scott Partnership collected the account after an extensive pitch process that saw five leading agencies competing for the brief.
Alun Cole, director, ALMSCO International, said: "We were recommended to use The Scott Partnership by an industry insider and selected the company because they were outstanding in comparison with the rest of the agencies we saw, both in terms of experience and in terms of depth of understanding of our industry."
Markes International's comprehensive portfolio of products is designed to automate and enhance the measurement of trace level volatile and semi-volatile organic chemicals in real-world samples. The Scott Partnership was selected by Markes International Ltd as a result of the agency's unrivalled reputation for delivering strong, strategic public relations campaigns in the scientific and technology sectors.
"We are delighted to announce the appointment of The Scott Partnership to deliver our new PR campaigns. Manufacturing and technology are two of the agency's key areas of expertise and given the company's previous experience, it is well placed to drive forward a successful PR strategy," said Liz Woolfenden, director, Markes International. "We were impressed by The Scott Partnership's in-depth market knowledge which I believe will help us to grow the company and educate media and industry about our technologies."
The Scott Partnership has a proven track record for delivering results driven campaigns across a range of technical fields and its highly trained team has a specialist understanding of clients' needs and key goals. The agency will plan and manage globally focused PR campaigns for both ALMSCO International and Markes International that will build awareness of the companies' innovative technologies and expertise.
