SpectralWorks Ltd.. (12/1/09). "Press Release: Spectral Works Announces Distributor for Japan".

SpectralWorks Limited has entered into a distribution agreement with Infocom Corporation of Japan (www.infocom.co.jp). Under the terms of the agreement Infocom will distribute software products from SpectralWorks including AnalyzerPro® and RemoteAnalyzer® as well as their bespoke software solutions for life sciences in Japan. John Moncur, Director of SpectralWorks, says "We are very excited to have the Science Group at Infocom as our distributor in Japan. This agreement allows us to introduce our software products for mass spectrometry productivity to a large number of researchers and scientist. Infocom's extensive experience of the Japanese market will give us the representation we need to support Japanese scientists."

The Science group, based in Tokyo, is part of the Chem & Bio Informatics Department of Infocom Corporation. They are developing, as IT support services, research systems for pharmaceutical companies as well as distributing and supporting software packages that help drug discovery and life science related researchers. Shojiro Morishita, General Manager of the Chem & Bio Informatics department said, "SpectralWorks products are not only vendor independent data processing applications for MS data but also highly accurate programs for detecting components. We are very excited about launching the SpectralWorks' solution to researchers in the Japanese market".
