Bruker Daltonics, Inc.. (3/10/00). "Press Release: Bruker Daltonics Announces esquire 3000!". Billerica, MA.
[3 March 2000] Bruker Daltonics, Inc. announces the all-new esquire3000 electrospray ionization (ESI) ion-trap LC/MSn system for life science and bioanalytical studies. The esquire3000 can be hyphenated with a high-pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) or capillary electrophoresis (CE) system to provide a complete solution for the structural characterization and quantitation of complex mixtures in pharmacokinetics, metabolic profiles, combinatorial chemistry, proteomics, and other life science applications.
The esquire3000 offers the perfect combination of highest performance and best sensitivity and includes powerful yet easy-to-learn software to simplify the setup and interpretation of HPLC/MSn analyses. The esquire3000 was developed with cutting-edge concepts, blending technological innovation and intuitive handling.
The esquire3000 is intuitive and includes: SmartSuiteTM for automated calibration, tuning and fragmentation; an unmatched combination of scan speed and resolution; advanced data processing and scripting for qualitative analysis; QuantAnalysisTM for quantitative batch processing of calibrants and samples with multiple display and reporting options; LibrarySearchTM of MS/MS spectra with advanced matching algorithms; and automated protein database searching of all the peaks from an LC/MS/MS peptide map.
The esquire3000 is innovative: the most sensitive ion trap ever with 5 pg MS/MS sensitivity for reserpine; the first ion trap with standard m/z range of 3,000; high resolution option across the full mass range; and an advanced AgilentTM orthogonal ESI source.
