Bruker Daltonics Inc. (NASDAQ: BDAL) today introduces the omniflex® LT, as the latest member of its MALDI-TOF product line, at the Pittsburgh Conference 2002. Priced at only $89,900, the omniflex LT sets a new standard of affordability for a high-quality, automated large biomolecular mass reader, making MALDI-TOF accessible to many clinical, biology and chemistry laboratories. The omniflex LT is a very user-friendly, automated bench-top MALDI-TOF, that has been designed for facile mass analysis by non-mass spec experts.

Based on the proven omniflex platform, the omniflex LT is an affordable, yet powerful mass spectrometer that is uniquely suited for biology and clinical research laboratories that wish to develop a MALDI-TOF capability.

The omniflex LT is supported by a variety of MALDI-TOF accessories and services available from Bruker Daltonics, such as the patented AnchorChips, purified matrices, mass calibrants, training tools, assays, bioinformatics software and worldwide applications support.
