Dionex Corporation. (6/00). "Press Release: Dionex Announces UHPLC Technical Improvements for Its High Performance Liquid Chromatography Systems". Sunnyvale, CA.
Dionex is pleased to announced details of its UHPLC+ focused technical improvements for the UltiMate® 3000 product line. The entire product line now is capable of delivering HPLC and UHPLC capabilities in a single system platform. Now, laboratories of all sizes can experience the benefits of UHPLC, which include faster analyses, reduced running costs and environmental impact, and the resolution of more analytes.
The entry-level UltiMate 3000 Basic Automated system provides cost effective access to UHPLC for laboratories working within a limited budget. Supporting pressures up to 620 bar at flow rates up to 10 mL/min, the system enables operation of conventional LC methods and the easy development of new UHPLC methods.
For laboratories running conventional LC applications and looking for maximum versatility, the UltiMate 3000 Standard system offers a vast range of pumps, autosamplers, column compartments, and detectors, allowing laboratories to easily configure a system that exactly matches their application needs. The system now supports pressures up to 620 bar at flow rates up to 10 mL/min, allowing laboratories to run all their existing methods, as well as readily developing UHPLC methods.
Binary, quaternary, and dual-ternary pumping options enable the UltiMate 3000 RSLC system to deliver the highest level of versatility in the UHPLC market today. This UHPLC system, designed for ultrahigh speed and ultrahigh resolution applications, can also run conventional LC methods, thus permitting laboratories to standardize on a single system to meet current and future needs. The maximum data collection rate of all the RS UV-vis detectors has been raised to 200 Hz, and the system now supports pressures up to 1000 bar and flow rates up to 8 mL/min.
