ACD/Labs is pleased to offer the combined 9th edition of the Wiley Registry of Mass Spectral Data with NIST 2008. The 9th edition of the Wiley Registry is available in an ACD/Labs compatible format. As a result, ACD/MS Manager can be used as a tool to navigate the Registry for searching and comparison when unknown compounds need to be identified, or known compounds confirmed.

The combined Wiley Registry plus NIST 2008 is the largest mass spectral library commercially available, with over 796,000 spectra and over 746,000 searchable chemical structures for more than 667,000 compounds, including those relevant to forensics, quality assurance, border control, research and development, commercial deformulation, food safety, and environmental science. The availability of the Registry in ACD/Labs' .nd9 format allows users to choose ACD/MS Manager as the default software to browse or search the registry.

ACD/MS Manager is software for processing, interpreting, and storing mass spectral data in almost any vendor format. ACD/MS Manager can be used to search commercial and proprietary databases by a variety of structure, substructure, spectral, numerical, and text-based queries. The ability to search by full and partial spectra, or spectral features results in a powerful tool for compound confirmation and identification.

Furthermore, ACD/Labs' software tool for non-targeted screening, ACD/IXCR, uses the complete NIST/EPA/NIH 2008 database to identify deconvoluted components present in messy samples. ACD/IXCR extracts components and reconstructs component spectra which are then compared against the NIST database. Concise reporting indicates when matches are found, along with a measure of the quality of the match.

Upgrades from earlier versions to the 9th Edition Wiley Registry are also available from ACD/Labs.
