IONICON Analytik Ges.m.b.H., based in Innsbruck, Austria, is proud to announce a sublicense agreement with MOBILion Systems, Inc. The agreement provides IONICON with access to MOBILion's exclusive Structures for Lossless Ion Manipulation (SLIM) separation technology. Integration of the SLIM High Resolution Ion Mobility technology with IONICON's industry-leading Proton-Transfer-Reaction – Time-of-Flight (PTR-TOF) mass spectrometry technology will result in a powerful new tool: the PTR-SLIM-TOF.

"A PTR-SLIM-TOF will enable the separation of complex mixtures and provide our customers with a whole new level of insight," said Lukas Märk, CEO of IONICON Analytik. "What previously required lengthy GC-based procedures can now be accomplished in milliseconds with SLIM, which fits perfectly with our real-time PTR-TOF trace VOC analysis capabilities.
