European Business Development Manager (m/f)

Your tasks and responsibilities will be:

– Finding new customers in industry and academia using the variety of tools ranging from personal networking to internet searches and direct marketing with a special focus on pharma, food market and veterinary markets

– Getting a systematic market overview and an estimation of the size of the total addressable market

– Working on marketing concepts and marketing tools suitable for this market segment

– Presentations for industrial and academic customers

– Support for local European sales forces for non-clinical microbiology products

– Booth support at congresses and scientific congresses

– Finding new marketing channels and distribution partners worldwide in close contact with respective local sales departments

As our ideal candidate you meet the following qualifications:

– A couple of years professional experience in sales and marketing of microbiology products, mass spectrometry or other high technology products

– Self-motivation and a willingness to work with others toward a shared goal

– Ability to work in a cross-functional European team environment involving sales, marketing, product management, research and development as well as service support

– Self-discipline and the ability to decide priorities in a rapidly changing commercial environment

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills

– Willingness / readiness for international travel
