mzio GmbH is pleased to announce the receipt of €150,000 in funding to continue the development of mzmine, a state-of-the-art mass spectrometry data processing software. This funding, awarded under the“BRE-Up Start-up Funding Bremen”, will enable us to create an enterprise-ready solution that seamlessly integrates popular sampling technologies – such as LC, GC, and MALDI – irrespective of the mass analyzer or instrument vendor.
The development of mzmine PRO aims to significantly enhance laboratory productivity by simplifying the processing of thousands of complex samples within a user-friendly software environment. With over 20 years of experience in mass spectrometry data processing, the mzio team is well-positioned to deliver exceptional value to industry customers.
In alignment with our commitment to open-source development, we reaffirm that mzmine will remain an open-source platform, encouraging collaboration and innvoation within the scientific community. We invite developers, scientists, and enthusiasts to join us in this ongoing venture of open innovation and community-driven development.
